How can we help you?

Experience

Residential

Our experience isn’t limited to the big jobs, however. We are skilled in the art of residential underpinning, having repaired foundations for hundreds of homes in Connecticut, New York, Rhode Island and Massachusetts. Being former residential GCs, we understand the needs of smaller construction companies. We’ll work seamlessly with your crew and stay on schedule.

Commercial

As many project managers will tell you, finding an experienced commercial contractor who’s reliable and professional can be a difficult job. At Conte Company, we pride ourselves in delivering economical, high-quality solutions to each and every one of our commercial clients. Over the years, we’ve been fortunate to have great clients such as Yale University, Shake Shack Restaurants and Norwalk Hospital, just to name a few. Our extensive commercial portfolio speaks loudly, but our long list of satisfied clients speak even louder.

Industrial/Infrastructural

Few deep foundation installation companies are qualified to work on projects for industrial applications. The inherent safety and security concerns are more than most construction teams can handle, but at Conte Company, we always go above and beyond for our clients. In the last decade alone, we’ve acquired a variety of necessary certifications, licenses and new installation techniques on behalf of our clients—completing special training courses to work with the U.S. NavyNational Grid and on the Brooklyn Bridge. We’ve even undergone anti-terrorist training to work on the Logan International Airport Terminal.

Quality Supply & Support

Conte Company wouldn’t be where it is today without our exclusive materials manufacturer Hubbell-Chance, our distributor Earth Anchoring Suppliers and our heavy equipment provider H.O. Penn.

Helical Pile Installers Since 1948

Conte Company was born nearly 70 years ago, when Anthony Conte and his two brothers immigrated from Italy to build and sell homes in Norwalk, CT. Over the years, as the business grew and evolved, the Contes branched out into public work, finding a niche in renovating and building local schools.

James Conte took over the business after spending his life in the field and earning a degree in Architecture. He has since built the business beyond its original general building model and geared the company for more intricate engineered construction projects. Now having a seat as a senior arbitrator in Connecticut construction cases, his sons have taken the company into its third-generation. Anthony, Michael, and Matthew now continue to progress the business with engineered and geotechnical construction. Although the business has grown significantly, the headquarters are still located in the building that Anthony originally built over 60 years ago.

Over the years, while the scope and type of work that Conte Company provides has transformed, their mission has never wavered. They have always held true the idea of completing projects with a high level of workmanship, while maintaining a personal level of care for each of their clients.

This enduring mantra has allowed Conte Company to build and maintain outstanding client relationships, some of which have lasted over 40 years!

For the last decade, since 2007, Conte Company’s helical pile division has grown rapidly, and is now the largest installer of Hubbell-Chance helical piles in New England.
